I recently designed this A1 poster to promote this fascinating photography exhibition being held at Seven Miles Out in Stockport.

The event explores Stockport’s controversial cannabis cafe, The Dutch Experience, which back in 2001 aimed to promote the legalisation of medicinal marijuana. The founder of the cafe, Colin Davies, was ultimately put in prison and the subsequent campaign to free him was captured on film by the Stockport photographer Darren Ord.

Both Darren and Colin will be retelling their memories of the events as well as screening a short documentary, Green Britain.

The event starts at 7pm this Thursday 28th May and is free to attend. For more info check out Seven Miles Out on Facebook.
